Lyon, 2019

Beaten and bruised, the person who'd earned the moniker of 'Earth's Strongest' in a select few circles felt themselves on the verge of defeat. The truth was now, more than ever, within their grasp. The true nature of what happened in Koreatown that day, and what was happening right now in Lyon, France. Without a death toll, thanks to Abdul Stephen, who'd managed to single-handedly defeat fifteen out of the twenty-two villains, even after the pathetic heroes of their world fled with their tails between their legs, as Abdul thought. Those Stonehearthe kids might have been a pain, but they were anything but cowards.

As the vise grip of a villain who manifested a crab claw was on the verge of crushing their left arm and a volley of ice shards shot at their already frozen torso from their right, Abdul Stephen cursed themselves, first and foremost. Although they would attempt to word it in a less self-centered way, the truth was that they thought they were the world's last altruistic hero. The final line of defense, the only one who truly wanted to save people. And that, without them, the world would be doomed.

A pair of heeled shoes planted themselves on the crab-villain's face, kicking off of it to send him flying into the ground. A hookshot dug into the pavement next to the ice wizard, and the shadowy figure activated it to instantly send all of their momentum in his direction, while smoothly transitioning out of a backflip. They swung the back of their hand back and forth, every single shard of ice disappearing into it. As their hookshot retracted all the way, they planted their foot on the cryomancer's torso, staring at the now knocked-down adversary from above. They presented the back of their hand, and every shard of ice they'd caught before shot out of it and into his face. Most perplexingly, Abdul's mysterious protector had done all this with one hand - they placed the camera they were holding in their other hand onto the ground and helped Abdul Stephen stand up.

"Told you we'd stay in contact."
